On and off, I've tended to read quite a bit. So, I thought I'd put up some reviews of books as I read them. In time, I may go back and add reviews of some of the books I read in the past. Not massively exciting, but I suppose it may be of interest to someone, somewhere (perhaps).
TimeOut Guide: San Francisco
This is really just my way of saying that we've just had a lovely holiday in San Francisco. Well, actually a lovely holiday mostly skiing in South Lake Tahoe, with a few days either side in San Francisco.
As we didn't have much time, we stayed pretty central, and saw rather less than perhaps we would have liked - good excuse for another trip! Anyway, this guide saw us right. Just like the New York guide, it had a great map, divided the city into sensible chunks, provided some welcome background information and, most importantly, told us all about the best restaurants! Suffice to say we've never had a bad meal caused by a TimeOut guide.
