On and off, I've tended to read quite a bit. So, I thought I'd put up some reviews of books as I read them. In time, I may go back and add reviews of some of the books I read in the past. Not massively exciting, but I suppose it may be of interest to someone, somewhere (perhaps).
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
This book's been praised by a bunch of literary people (e.g. winner of the Whitbread book of the year) for its evocation of an autistic boy. However, for the computer scientists and mathematicians among us, it's a bit 'yes, and? That was the guy sitting in the front row of the lecture theatre' (or, occasionally, 'that's me').
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh. It's quite a fun book. A bit different, but nother amazing.
