On and off, I've tended to read quite a bit. So, I thought I'd put up some reviews of books as I read them. In time, I may go back and add reviews of some of the books I read in the past. Not massively exciting, but I suppose it may be of interest to someone, somewhere (perhaps).
Exceptional C++ - Herb Sutter
This book's a bit like Scott Myer's Effective C++ on some kind of drugs. It's another one of those books that shine lights into the more unpleasant corners of C++. Whereas Myer's books don't tend to get too obscure, this book is a mixture of obvious points and insights into the really grim details. It's kind of depressing how you can think you pretty much get C++, and then more and more stuff keeps turning up. If you liked Effective C++, this'll be your kind of thing.
