On and off, I've tended to read quite a bit. So, I thought I'd put up some reviews of books as I read them. In time, I may go back and add reviews of some of the books I read in the past. Not massively exciting, but I suppose it may be of interest to someone, somewhere (perhaps).
The Jennifer Morgue - Charles Stross
The sequel to The Atrocity Archives, this book once again shows Stross's creativity. This time, he's gone for a horror-Bond spy thriller cross, with the normal amount of system administration thrown in. It didn't quite catch me in the same way as the previous book, but it's great fun, and tries to catch a little of both Bond-in-the-books and Bond-in-the-films. It also throws in an extra little short story at the end, which is a fun freebie. Again, I'm a great fan of Stross, so I'm not likely to be too critical, but this is a good, fun, brain-free read.
