Nabla

On and off, I've tended to read quite a bit. So, I thought I'd put up some reviews of books as I read them. In time, I may go back and add reviews of some of the books I read in the past. Not massively exciting, but I suppose it may be of interest to someone, somewhere (perhaps).

Revelation Space - Alistair Reynolds

Bog-standard modern epic space opera. 500 pages, space ships, people converted to AIs, cyborgs, plagues, disasters and Alien Forces Beyond Your Comprehension. All reasonable enough, although not as fun as Vernor Vinge and not as thought-provoking as Greg Egan. A bit like Iain Banks, if he wrote harder sci-fi.
