This is a strange little pamphlet of a book, originally written in 1913, and now re-released pretty much into the "Little Book of X" genre. An odd mixture of timeless advice and things very much of its time ("Don't sharpen pencils all over the house as you walk about. Try a hearth or a waste-paper basket, or a newspaper. It does not improve either carpets or the servants' temper to find scraps of pencial-sharpenings all over the floors"). Quite fun, really.
This was bought for me during my stag weekend by a friend. Er, cheers Dan!
