A short nine months after David's birth, and I've read another baby book... otherwise, I've been too busy looking after him! :)
This little book was part of a little pack as a present from my sister, where the gimmick is to treat the baby as an exciting new piece of technology. The illustrations are rather fun and while the joke gets old pretty quickly in a 200 page book the text still retains a sense of fun, and is actually a pretty good straight-forward guide to the essentials. Certainly not the only book you'd want if you want textual reassurance as a parent, but perhaps a good start.
