Another part of my charity shop haul, and apparently a classic in that rather niche market of books on spotting the signals people give out while playing poker. It's a very straightforward book, really. There are a few tells where players are subconciously signalling the strength of their hands directly, but for the most part people signal the opposite of what they have when they think people are watching - they act. So, weak implies strong and vice versa. So, er, pretty shallow, really! The tells are illustrated with photos of really weird-looking people hamming it up... and if you read the photo credits, you discover that these models are, in fact, well-known poker players! I guess good poker players look weird?
