Sometimes Caroline buys me really random books.
This is a little collection of questions put to Charles Saatchi, and his answers. As he doesn't do interviews, this is apparently a bit of a thing. Originally I thought someone had gone around collecting all the quotes he'd made, but it later becomes clearer that he was very involved in the project.
The answers paint an interesting picture. His hiding from the limelight really does just seem to be just not feeling it suits him (quite refreshing in an age of celebrity). He is often self-deprecating, and even if it's false modesty he never misses an opportunity to thank those who helped him in advertising. On the other hand he's often very glib (even if many times the questions deserve it), through to downright abrasive.
In the end I get the impression that he's just this guy, you know?
